About Model Tech

As a young boy I spent many years with my father model making and flying model aircraft as well as learning how to carry out repairs and servicing of radio controlled models. With the development of microelectronics and advances in battery technology over the last few years models have become more complex, requiring specialist retailers that understand the product.

There is a demand for specialist retailers that can give advice to the modeller be it a novice or experienced as well as service back up and technical help to ensure that the correct equipment is supplied to suit the individual needs of the customer.

Established in 2003 as a family run business Model-tech was created to cater for the needs of enthustiastic flyers, boaters and car racers using both IC and electric powered models, and all aspects of model making, from basic plastic kits to advanced radio controlled equipment.

Specialising in Radio controlled models we can supply the complete package or individual components to suit the needs of the customer. Our technical department can offer advice and help on all aspects of modeling including help on repairs and service.

Our service centre offers a spare parts and repair service for all our products.

We also now have a comprehensive range of plastic kits from top manufactures with a full range of equipment including paints and brushes to enable you to get the best from your kit.
